Red Line is a measuring tool that is positioned before the sorting line to detect flatness defects in ceramic tiles. The video camera and laser generator set-up is able to acquire, reconstruct, visualize and analyze the profile of the entire surface of the tile without any contact, with a precision of ± 1 tenth of millimeter.

A sophisticated laser line

By means of a sophisticated set-up of video cameras and the installation of up to 9 laser line generators, Red Line analyzes the entire surface of the tile without contact, measuring even its smallest deformation and obtaining a 3D visualization of the surface.
