Check Point is an automatic visual control machine that analyzes the decorated or undecorated surface of the tile before the firing phase.
The great advantage offered by this technology is a higher production yield. The prior elimination of non-conforming pieces maintains the level of first choice items produced and, at the same time, generates a considerable saving in ink, besides optimizing the energy consumption of the kiln.
Check Point can be positioned before or after the digital printer. In both cases the machine carries out a check of the print quality; it works best, however, when positioned before the decorator, at the input of the digital printer.
In this case, in fact, it checks for defects in the body and the glaze, and significantly reduces waste of color.
Positioned at the exit of the digital printer, on the other hand, it checks printing defects, eliminating defective pieces and making it possible to recover unfired material before firing.
